This statement applies to data collected by the “CMPIC Scanner” application, produced by Cloudis Limited (“we”, “our”, or “us”) and distributed via Google Play and Apple Business Manager. We will collect and use information only in the ways disclosed in this statement.
Information we collect
Personal & sensitive data
The “CMPIC Scanner” is a simple barcode scanning application designed as an add-on utility for use with the barcode module of our flagship “CMPIC” cable management software. It does not directly collect any personal data or transfer any data over networks. The camera is required for barcode scanning, and camera permissions will be requested from the user for access, but no image data is retained once the barcode data has been processed. The application produces a locally stored file containing the scan data. This scan data file can be exported by the user via native “share” functionality, or deleted either in the application itself or by uninstalling the application. The data file is not shared with Cloudis or any 3rd parties (including Google or Apple) and is the user’s responsibility to safeguard.
Usage data
Our app is distributed via the Google Play Store and Apple Business Manager. Google and Apple may automatically collect information from users’ devices, including diagnostic information, stability metrics (such as crash reports and ANR rates), and device identifiers to provide the developer with performance analysis and to ensure the security and integrity of the app. This data is handled by Google and Apple in accordance with their privacy policies:

Changes to this privacy policy
We may update our privacy policy from time to time, as we make changes to the application or as legal and third-party requirements change. Changes will be reflected on this page, and the “last updated” note at the top of the policy will be updated accordingly. Additionally, actively licenced users of the “CMPIC Scanner” application will be notified of any changes by email within 5 working days.
